Website information

Privacy & cookies.

This notice covers visits to this website and general product enquiries. It does not cover the use of future software products, which will have their own privacy information where needed.

Who is responsible

Ashen Labs Ltd is the controller for personal information handled for these purposes. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16487365. Our registered office is 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London, England, W1W 5PF.

For a privacy question or request, email hello@ashenlabs.ai or write to our registered office, marked for the attention of the director.

When you contact us

If you send us an enquiry, we use your email address, name if provided, message, and any other details you choose to share to respond and manage the conversation. You do not have to provide this information, but we need a way to reply if you want a response.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: responding to enquiries and understanding relevant product needs. We do not automatically add people who contact us to a marketing list, and we do not make solely automated decisions about them.

Please do not send confidential case files, health information, or other sensitive personal information through this general enquiry address. It is not a channel for legal advice or product support.

Website visits and cookies

Cloudflare hosts and protects this website. Delivering pages and preventing abuse involves processing technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, request times, and browser or device information. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliable website.

We do not add advertising, behavioural tracking, or visitor-analytics scripts. Fonts are served from our own website. There is no account registration or enquiry form on this site.

Cloudflare may set security cookies, including cf_clearance, to record security checks and help distinguish legitimate visitors from automated traffic. These are used for security, not advertising. See Cloudflare's cookie information for their purposes and duration. Blocking them may cause additional checks or prevent access.

Service providers and international processing

We use Cloudflare for website hosting, security, and inbound email forwarding, and Google Gmail to receive and manage correspondence. These providers process information as needed to provide their services. See Cloudflare's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for details. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish or defend legal rights. We do not sell personal information.

These services can involve processing outside the UK. Where required, transfers must be covered by applicable adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. Cloudflare describes its safeguards, including the UK transfer addendum, in its data processing addendum. Contact us for details about providers used for your correspondence.

How long information is kept

Routine product enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then deleted. If a conversation becomes an ongoing business relationship, or records are needed for a legal obligation or claim, we retain only what is needed for that purpose and review it separately.

Technical security information is kept only as needed for service operation, abuse prevention, or incident investigation under the applicable provider settings and retention policies. We do not maintain a separate website visitor database.

Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, restrict its use, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. Portability rights apply where the relevant legal conditions are met. Contact us using the details above; we may need to confirm your identity before responding.

You can raise concerns with us and complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. We review this notice when our website or handling of enquiries changes.
